SR 520 Ombudsman David Goldberg:
As a community liaison, the ombudsman helps WSDOT better understand citizens’ concerns and, whenever possible, helps develop options to address the issue.
SR 520 Diversity and Inclusion program:
WSDOT has established a voluntary MSVWBE (Minority, Small, Veteran and Women’s Business Enterprises) participation goal of 26 percent for the Montlake Project. The percentage is broken down into 10 percent Minority Business Enterprises, 5 percent Small Businesses, 5 percent Veteran Businesses, and 6 percent Women Business Enterprises.
